5. Why I Hate My Hometown
6. Why I Was a Childhood Bully
The three of these prompts all sort of lumped together easily for me. Particularly because I hated Livermore while I was growing up there, but about six months after living in Stockton I realized how good I had it there.
I love Livermore for its size. I love counting on seeing at least three people I know at any given outing. I love Casa Orozco and that the staff knows our family. I love that I grew up there and went to school with a lot of the same people the entire time I was there.
I hate Livermore for its size. I hate knowing I'll see at least three people I know at any given outing (particularly when I'm feeling lazy and not looking cute). I hate that you really can't escape Livermore because you always come back.
Quite frankly, I have a sincere love-hate relationship with Livermore. I'll always look back on growing up there with a smile, but I will admit I don't intend on living there permanently again--and I'm ok with that idea.
As for being a childhood bully: I wasn't. I was very nice. Celline was the mean one. So, shoo.
I went to the fair today and I didn't see 1 person I knew!! I was shocked.
ReplyDeletePS I don't care about the rest of the Orozco's, but I sure as hell love that Carlos knows us. ;)
