I have been researching typical epitaphs for about an hour now and, quite frankly, this prompt is depressing. I sort of want to make a joke out of it, but then that seems odd and inappropriate, but then I think about actual possibilities and that's just depressing. So I've decided to say that mine will likely detail something about being a dreamer and a dancer and believing in true love. More exciting though, are some of the epitaphs I found that I particularly like for one reason or another:
I am ready to meet my Maker.Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.
- — Winston Churchill
Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves my bones.
- William ShakespeareAnd one more incredibly appropriate for how I'm feeling right now:
She always said her feet were killing her but nobody believed her.-Margaret Daniels
